The Application

Conductivity measurement is a widespread and useful measurement for water quality, industrial waters, laboratory ultra-pure water, water treatment and quality control purposes. This measurement is typically made with laboratory, field or process analytical instruments. These instruments are similar to other electrochemical instruments such as pH and ISE meters. Conductivity is a frequent measurement and is a common surrogate measurement for water quality/water contamination. The accuracy of conductivity measurements is typically poor and obtaining accurate conductivity measurements is often difficult. Subsequently, most instrument manufacturers and users accept high errors, poor linearity, and technique related problems. Quest's technology improves these issues in a cost effective manner.
