The primary revenue stream for this client was associated with the polymer that is used to fill the hole created during a root-canal.  The deployment of the polymer requires that the material be heated to a very high temperature as it is introduced into the cavity in the tooth.  The program represented two significant challenges. 

1. Protection of the patient and dentist from burn during the introduction of the material

2. Packaging of the necessary motors, heaters, and thermal barriers into the hand piece. 

Quest designed the system and delivered 8 working prototypes for testing within two months.
