Quest has ongoing development programs in a number of areas. Some programs are with universities doing technology transfer and works with large corporations to provide an entrepreneurial small business partner or to conduct joint research and development in SBIR/STTR programs. Others are internally motivated to address key technology needs of our customers.

Federal Programs

The SBIR and STTR federal programs provide funding to small businesses with innovative technologies which can solve problems of interest to the federal agency, such as the National Institutes of Health, Department of Defense, NASA or National Science Foundation. These federally funded programs allow the university or entrepreneur to retain rights to the Intellectual Property, provide funding to move the concept toward commercialization, and are equity-free financing that can be critical for start-up companies.
